Happy Father's Day!

It was Drew's first "real" father's day. Allie has gotten him cards and
little things in the past but he is a real father now! We had a really nice day! Of course we where super busy. It started off with an early breakfast with Drew's mom and step dad. The off too up north where we say Drew's grandparents and Drew's dad! It was so much fun to see everyone and they could see how much Skyler has grown! After being up north we went to a movie.. We saw "Don't mess with the zohan" Not the greatest Adam Sandler movie.. but, that is what Drew wanted to see. After the move we went over to my dad. We hung out over there then came home to spend some time as a family. Skyler and Allie had bought Drew some new clothes for his first father's day.. and boy does he look good!! ;-) I got Drew something for father's day but also something to help us out money wise.. He got a Scooter! and boy does he love it. He takes that during the week when he does not take Skyler to Brittany's. His gas bill was getting a little to much for our pocket book.. So, instead of $160 a week in fuel is more like $10 in fuel! Well, Happy Father's day Drew! We love you- And all the other father's out there! We hope you had a great day!

No time for Skyler

So, I'm sure you all know that I'm back to work now.. It's a lot harder then I thought it was going to be. On Monday, my first day back, I dropped Skyler off at my mom's and I was not upset to leave him. I was excited to start back to work.. I got to work and I was so busy that I only had one bathroom break all day!! Boy, does that make for a long day. I had to work late so Drew picked Skyler up. I got home about 8 pm and I was so excited to see my little man.. but he was sleeping ;-( but, I woke him up anyways. I gave him his bath, feed him and put him to bed. Yesterday, Drew took Skyler to Brittany's on his way to work.. So, I got up and got him ready and off he went. It was funny because he was still sound asleep as I changed his diaper and got him dresses. So, needless to say I really only got to see Skyler for like 30 minutes the last 2 days. I really missed him yesterday! I'm sure it will get easier.. I just have to remember the time that I do have with him is super special and cherish every minute with him.

My two babies!

So, today is my last day of being a stay at home mom! I'm going back to work starting Monday! I'm excited to go back to work because I LOVE my job so much! but I'm also sad because I'm going to miss my two cute babies! It really has been fun spending so much time with Skyler. He has started this new obsession with ceiling fans. He will stop everything he is doing if a ceiling fan is going. Also, on a sad note.. He has a little hernia.. His belly button in not in anymore it's out. His intestines are pushing it out because his ab mussels have not formed yet. But the doctors is 99% that is will fix itself. I'm also really thankful for the people that are going to be watching Skyler while I go back to work. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday grandma crazy (my mom) is going to be watching him.. and Allie might be going over there some of the times too. On Tuesday and Thursday Brittany will be watching him.. but, I don't know how long that will last because she is expecting her own little bundle of joy too and I don't want it to be to much stress on her. But on the positive side Drew's dad and Daylane want to take him on Thursdays! So, we will talk to them and work out the details because they live an hour away and that is so far for them to travel. But the things grandparents do for there grandchildren!

Big Boy Skyler

My little boy is getting so big! Last night was the first night that we put him in his BIG boy crib because I'm getting ready to go back to work and I need to start getting the family on some kind of schedule. I was really sad because I knew that means no more snuggles with him in bed in the middle of the night. But, to my surprise Skyler did so good for his first night in his room! He only woke up twice. Once at 1:30 and again at 5:30, Which are his normal times to wake up.

So, I think last night I was having a hard time with him moving on to his big boy bed because on his first feeding at 1:30, I heard him start to cry threw the monitor and I sat up in bed and hit drew and told him that he had to take care of the other baby because I can only handle one baby at a time. Drew had this really confused look on his face. He looked at me and then the monitor and asked me where Skyler was and I told him with me. Once again he looked at the monitor and said " are you sure?" and I said "yes". Then he asked me again "What baby do you have?" and removed the covers from my arms. I had my stuffed animal Tony curled up in my arms. I thought it was a baby... Yea, Drew thinks I'm nuts.. I just think either I was having separation anxiety or very much sleep deprived!!! Oh well, it was a good laugh at 1:30 this morning!!

Skyler's First Dunes Trip

WOW! Skyler did so great for his first trip to the dunes! Friday night when we got there is was raining so he just chilled out in Ronnie and Delena's trailer. But, Saturday was still a little cold and he only came out of the trailer for a minute or so. But Sunday was an awesome day and he got to go out and sit with his daddy for the first time on a 4-wheeler.
It's was a really nice and relaxing trip! I had alot of help from Brittany, Delena, Erla and Kendra! Thanks guys!! We love you!

I'm a month old!! Happy day to me!

Well, Skyler is a month old as of yesterday! He is getting so big. Earlier this week he finally grew out of his newborn diapers and I had to loosen his car seat. Everyday I feel that he changes so much. He's favorite things to do are just laying on the floor stretching out as far as he can, he loves just to sit up in his swing and just look around and of course suck on his binky. I love being a mom and I know that Drew loves being a daddy! Last night I told Drew that he is on baby sitting detail while I do some things around the house.. as you can see from the pictures Drew had so much fun with Skyler, Allie on the other hand is up in air.

On Monday and yesterday was Skyler's and myself first parting.. I had some things to do that Skyler could not be apart of.. So, he went to Grandma Crazy's house (my mom's) and she and my sister watched him. You could tell that they had SO much fun with him and he had his fun too. He was to tired last night! It was nice to get some decent sleep.

Well, this weekend is Memorial day and it's a big weekend at the dunes.. So, Skyler is taking his first trip out to the dunes. Drew is so excited! I'm surprised he has not gone out and bought Skyler his first 4-wheeler and helmet yet! So, we will just have to see how that goes!

oh boy!

Boy, oh boy! Has it been a busy last couple of weeks. well, Skyler is doing great! We have so much fun with him every day that passes! Last week was his first doctor's appointment. Skyler did not enjoy that appointment at all. He had to get circumcise, Because of his jaundice they would not do it at the hospital, so we had to wait for his 2 week appointment. Poor little guy.. I heard him screaming from down the hall! but Drew was a trooper and when in and watched and took care of his son! What a good daddy!!! But, Skyler has gained a whole pound since he left the hospital. He now weights 7 pounds 11 oz! He is becoming such a BIG boy! but still is so little. I had to go out and buy him some smaller clothes because nothing I had fit him. He hates to lay down, he always has to be sitting up and watching what is going on around him. Allie is finally warming up to him. When he cries she is right there! She loves to smell him and give him kisses.

Drew has started his spring project last weekend. He is re-doing our front yard! oh boy, is our front yard a mess! but, Drew promised me that it will be done by this weekend and it's going to look so nice. I'm excited.

Well, I had my first mother's day! It was great! It started off with breakfast with Drew's mom, then going and seeing all the other mom's that our special in our lives as well. Then Drew and Skyler took me out to a movie. We went and saw what happens in Vegas. Skyler did excellent for his first movie!! Then the day finished up with dinner at my mom's house! It was the best mother's day that anyone could have asked for! Thanks Allie and Skyler!
