So, Drew and I decided it was time to go to the Zoo. Both of us have not been in a really long time and we know that Skyler has never been. So we went this morning before it got really hot! It was so much fun. Skyler loved seeing all of the animals and all the people! You could tell he loved it so much because after we left the zoo he slept for 4 hours! He was a tired little man! 
Today I decided to go get Skyler's 3 month pictures taken. He is getting so big and just so cute that I want to capture every momment. Hope you enjoy the pictures
So, you will never believe what is happening to Skyler!!! He is teething! yeah, I know.. a little to young don't you think?? Well not so much. How I found out is earlier last week Skyler sounded like he was getting a cold.. So, I asked my mom what to do and she said to get a humidifier on him and keep him prop up. Well, I did and it was so cute because the first night that i proped him up. He started up at the top of his crib then when I went in to wake him up for the morning he had wiggled himself all the way to the bottom of his crib.. what a turd. well, back to my teething story, anyways.. On Friday's Drew's dad and Girlfriend come and get him and watch him. Well, this weekend they took him over night.. so of course, I packed all of his stuff up even his humidifier because of his cold. Later on that day Daylane texts me while I'm at work and tells me that Skyler is teething. She says it totally makes since because of his cold and how much he DROOLS like crazy, eats his fist like it's going out of style and his top gums are white.. Yeah, my little boy is growing up!! I asked my mom when I got my first tooth and she said 3 months and she also agrees that he is teething. I have not asked his doctor yet.. but, I'm thinking its a for sure thing. So, I'm sure we will have a tooth with in the next month or so.. poor little boy!!
It was nice to have Cliff and Daylane take Skyler over Friday night! Drew and I got a chance to go out on a date together. It was nice.. Just us!! We went to dinner then out to a movie. We saw the new Batman movie! It was so awesome. I defiantly recommend it. It's funny because we went to the 10:30pm showing and when it got out I felt so old because I have not been up that late in a long time!! I was so tired. boy, what kids do to you!! But with him being away I missed him alot. I keep going into his room to see if he was in there. and he wasn't.. It's funny because it did not even bug Allie that he was gone. I think she thought he was gone for good!! (she is still having some jealous issues).
We went camping over the 4Th of July. It was so great to see all of our old friends that we have not hung out with in a while. Skyler did alright for his first camping trip ruffing it. It was a little hard on him because before we left for our trip he had his 2 month check up. Yup, that's right 2-months and I'm sure any person knows that means he gets his first set of shots... The doctor says that he is doing great. He now weighs 12 lbs 7 oz and is 23.5 inches long. He is growing so much. I love his smiles and when you kiss him on the lips he has started slipping you the tongue. WATCH OUT LADIES!! He has the biggest blue eyes ever. Drew calls them Bud-light blue- But, while we where up camping Skyler did spike a little bit of a fever while we where there but handled him self really well.
So, I turned 26 on Tuesday! You know they say the older you get the more it's just another day! Normal I make sure my birthday is a BIG deal.. but, this year I failed myself. I have just been so busy with work and being a mom that I kind of forgot about my birthday. But, my wonderful husband, Skyler and Allie made it very special. It started out with cards that Drew had planted all threw out my house.. One from Skyler in the bathroom, One from Allie in my purse and one from him in my car. It was so so sweet because Drew has never-ever given me a card- So, I will be hanging on to that card- I had to work all day but after I got off I went to Drew's softball game then Drew took me to dinner at one of my favorite places "TEXAS ROADHOUSE". After dinner we came home and Drew surprised me with some birthday presents- He got me a gift certificate to the spa, a new purse, a new jewelry box and a gift card to go by some new clothes! He is so sweet. He made my birthday very special! Thanks Babe- Love you!!!
What a very busy weekend.. Skyler had a lot of firsts this weekend.. Well, it all started off with Friday night- Skyler's first trip to the drive inn! He was such a good boy. We went with Aj and Brittany and saw the Incredible Hulk followed by Iron Man. On Saturday, Skyler went swimming for his first time over at his Aunt Brittany's house. Let's just say Skyler did not play in the water too much.. He screamed so much. He was ok when either Drew or I was holding him but he was very unhappy... Skyler also meet his Aunt Danielle for the first time. And oh boy was he in love with her.. He could not stop staring at her... It was great to spend time with her!!! Love you Dani- After dinner we went and watched fire works with Aj, Brittany and Darin.. over at Jerry's house.. We waited forever for the fire works to start but they never did.. until we started driving home.. oh well.. Boy.. it was a very busy weekend.. Skyler slept most of the day today because he was so tired.. Ok, Drew and I took a nap too!!!
